Hickory is a great wood for both smoking and burning in fireplaces.  Known as the King of smoking woods, it is the preferred wood of competition BBQ teams due to the heavy sweet fragrant smoke it produces.  Great for pork shoulders and ribs, hickory is an all around go-to wood for most barbecuing.  When burned in a fireplace or stove hickory is comparable to oak, but produces slightly more heat and pops a bit more.  Our hickory wood is cut at a length of 16" and split into firewood size pieces.  If you need green wood for smoking please call to check our inventory.   

Our base pricing for each quantity of wood includes pickup from our lot in Olathe, KS.  Please choose from the appropriate drop down option for quantity and delivery / pick up.  Our driveway dump option includes the placement of your order on your driveway where we can access safely with one of our delivery trucks.
